Banjara and Gaderiya dances are based on folk songs. The dancer enacts the role of trader or shepherd. The dances of hills are not bound by limitations.

Ghughati dance has been named after a mountain bird of the same name. In this dance, the performers stand in a circle and start dances with the beat of the ‘Dhol ‘. The performer also sings along with the dance.

The Lavli and Bangavali dance are also attractive dance forms. Along with the dancers, the audience also starts swaying. The groups of dancers put one leg forward and one backward, bend forward once and then rise and move hands in air and dance in a round circle. This dance is performed at the time of ripening of harvest or marriage.
