Vibhav means reason or purpose i.e. on account of kidnapping of Sita, Rama felt anger towards Ravana. It is of two types:
a.	Alamban—upon seeing which a sthyaee bhava (permanent feeling) is generated.
b.	Uddipan—the means of awakening a Bhava (feeling) is called Uddipan.
